Industry Leadership Forum on Arctic Sustainable Development

Event Date:
September 16, 2012 to September 17, 2012

The World Ocean Council (WOC) Arctic Business Leadership Council meeting marks the start of an ongoing forum for multi-sectoral collaboration among responsible companies on the future of the Arctic. The gathering will bring together representatives of shipping, oil and gas, fisheries, aquaculture, tourism, marine science/technology and other industries with interests in the Arctic.

The WOC meeting and the following Informal Business Dialogue session present an opportunity for the private sector to help shape the structure and process of Arctic business interaction both among the industry sectors operating in the region as well as in dialogue with representatives for the Sustainable Development Working Group.

More information about the event may be found on the WOC website. Industry representatives interested in participating in the Reykjavik meetings should contact paul.holthus@oceancouncil.org. Space is limited.
