By bringing together experts from politics, business, finance, culture, academia, civil society and the media, the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum provides a unique, interdisciplinary platform for dialogue on the huge challenges facing the world economy. The theme of the 2013 forum will be "The Future of Growth — Economic Values and the Media."
The inaugural ScienceOnline Oceans conference will focus on how the internet can be used for collaboration, education and outreach in the marine sciences.
