ENTRY FORM: Beat Large Market

QUALIFYING ENTRIES: Enter up to five stories on a broad range of environmental subjects, published in a newspaper, magazine, wire service, newsletter or online, or aired on TV (including cable) or radio, between March 1, 2012, and Feb. 28, 2013. You may enter stories from one or various publications, sites or programs. Entry must be the work of an individual, either alone or with a small supporting team.

LINKS AND FILES: Upload low-resolution PDF or radio mp3 files (20 MB max per file), or paste links to your stories. If you are uploading files, ignore the fields for links; if you are using links, ignore the fields for uploading files. Do not include a link AND a file of the same story.  Use only links that will not expire in 2013. If you are unable to upload files or paste links, you may prepare four copies of your stories according to SEJ Awards preparation rules

COVER LETTER: Have your cover letter ready to upload as you complete the form. Your cover letter must include the impact of the reporting. Even if you mail in your entries, uploaded cover letters ARE REQUIRED. PDF only. 1,000 word maximum.

CONTACT SHEET: If your entry includes more than just yourself in the reporting team, you are required to upload a document containing all reporter names and contact information (mailing address, phone number and email address). PDF only. 

BROADCAST TRANSCRIPTS: Each radio, television and audio/video component of a website must include a complete transcript. Upload a separate transcript for each broadcast story you enter. PDF only.

CAUTION! As you complete the awards entry form, be sure to fill in all required fields. If you miss one, you'll lose any files you've attached. Your other information will remain intact, but you'll have to attach your cover letter and other files again.

PAYMENT: When the form is complete, you will be redirected to a secure payment site where you can pay instantly by credit card or opt to send SEJ a check. Your entry will not be considered until payment is received. Please pay your fee as soon as you complete the entry form!
