Feds to Report on Climate Change-Transportation Connection

January 9, 2008

The links between climate change and U.S. transportation are the focus of a National Academies' National Research Council report scheduled for release on Feb. 4, 2008. The report, with a working title of "Climate Change and U.S. Transportation," will address a wide range of potential impacts on infrastructure and operations, and make recommendations to transportation planners, designers, and operators on how to prepare for and adapt to climate change.
