| About Me | Bill Lascher's journalism focuses on transportation, urban sustainability, energy, natural disasters and related sciences, but he never shies away from a good story. He is currently working on a book about World War II-era journalist Melville Jacoby. Though Lascher specializes in narrative pieces with a strong sense of place, he also reports and writes breaking news, analysis and feature stories. Now a freelancer for magazines, online outlets and radio, he previously worked as the editor of an alt-weekly and as a staff writer at weekly business journal. Lascher has a master's degree in specialized journalism with an emphasis on science writing from the USC Annenberg School, a bachelor's degree from Oberlin, and he is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. |
