| About Me | My interest in environmental issues began during my days as a Boy Scout. While I've never covered a purely environmental beat, I've always been drawn to stories that involve environmental concerns. I'm currently a staff writer for The State Journal-Register, covering the suburbs of Springfield, Ill. Previously, I was a reporter for CU-CitizenAccess.org, a website covering social and economic issues in Champaign County, Ill. I still take occasional freelance assignments. I have a master's and bachelor's degrees in journalism and a bachelor's in creative writing, all from the University of Illinois. |
