| About Me | Julianne Couch writes about environmental and energy issues, as well as travel, rural life, and the arts. She's the author of two books about small town Wyoming bars, with a travelogue about electrical plants forthcoming. A Midwesterner by birth, she became a Westerner by choice when in 1992 she moved to Laramie, Wyoming. She began teaching in the University of Wyoming's English department in 1998. In 2011 she and her husband returned to their geographical roots and are restoring a 130-year-old home on the banks of the Mississippi River in Bellevue, Iowa. Julianne continues to teach for UW as an online instructor. |
