"Campaign 2018: 32 House Races To Watch On Energy, Environment"

"Veteran Energy and Commerce Republicans vying to hang on, an Iowa GOP lawmaker who appeared recently with acting EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler and two Democratic challengers with clean energy business backgrounds are among the candidates in this year's top energy and environmental House races.

An E&E News analysis of more than 80 of the congressional contests seen as most competitive this fall found 32 races that could turn on issues such as climate change, regulatory rollbacks, and land and water policy.

The list has grown from 18 seats last year as Democrats have found more pickup opportunities in their quest to win the 23 seats needed to take control of the House. The GOP is playing defense. Only two Democratic incumbents are on the list, compared with more than 20 Republican officeholders."
