And now for something completely different:

UM – Flint Riverfront

The Riverfront features dorm-style lodging with four private bedrooms in a suite with shared kitchen, living room and bathroom space. Bedding is a bit unpredictable; we suggest bringing a blanket.

These rooms, located in the building where most sessions are held, are deeply inexpensive. We ask that those who can afford to stay in one of the conference hotels do so, and allow these rooms to be used by people who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend the conference. You’ll be rewarded by better privacy and likely a more comfortable bed. ;-)

Hall amenities include:

  • Secure buildings with keycard access
  • Wi-Fi
  • Air conditioning
  • Parking
  • Building staff dedicated to helping guests
  • Laundry facilities
  • Vending machines
  • Community gathering area

Note: you’ll need to bring your own blow dryer. Rooms are set up suite style, giving each guest their own bedroom while sharing the common areas with other guests. Each suite has a kitchenette, living space and breakfast bar or dining room table. A typical bedroom comes with an extra-long twin bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and a chest of drawers with desktop organizer.

ADULT RATE: $60.00 per guest, per night
