The The Hostwriter Prize [1] grants €5000 in awards for collaborative research designed to award exemplary collaborative journalism. One award is for a work already published and the other is for a brilliant pitch. The latter aims to give students or recent graduates the means to realize their idea. 

The deadline is Oct 31, 2019. Journalists from all media are eligible. In 2014, a freelance network of environmental journalists won the prize.

Hostwriter [2] is a non-for-profit network for journalists founded in 2013 by three female journalists based in Berlin out of a belief that collaboration breeds better journalism.
