Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications is now accepting nominations for the annual Mirror Awards [1] recognizing reporting, analysis and commentary covering the media industry and its role in our economy, culture and democracy. The deadline is Feb 15, 2025. Anyone may nominate, and there is no fee to enter.

Established by the Newhouse School in 2006, the Mirror Awards honor the reporters, editors and teams of writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit. They are the most important awards for recognizing excellence in media industry reporting.

The competition is open to anyone who conducts reporting, commentary or criticism of the media industries in a format intended for a mass audience. Cash prizes.
