DEADLINE: Multimedia Journalism and Water/Netherlands Fellowship Programme

Water is the source of all life. And, increasingly, it is a source of conflict, tension, diplomacy and national/international policy as the pressure on resources continues to grow. Learn how to design and produce attractive and effective multimedia stories on this most pressing of global issues. This course strengthens the capacity of journalists working for broadcast, print or online publications to design and produce attractive and effective multimedia stories on issues to do with water.

RNTC's Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) is accepting applications from 1 March until 7 May for scholarships for its Multimedia Journalism & Water course, [1] taking place 4 - 22 November 2013.

RNTC application deadline: 1 October 2013. (RNTC Fellowships are unlike NFP fellowships. They cover up to 50% of the course fee and no costs for travel and accommodation.)

NFP scholarship applications: 1 March - 7 May 2013

Media: The course is designed for working journalists with at least three years professional experience in broadcast, print or online media. Note: To be eligible for a scholarship under the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes you must be a national of one of the following countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Autonomous Palestinian Territories, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Macedonia, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
