DEADLINE: Scripps Howard Institute on the Environment and Science

The Scripps Howard Institute on the Environment and Science, [1] a program of continuing education for working reporters who cover the environment and science, typically takes place in May, hosted by Florida Atlantic University. Participants will explore developments in science, biotechnology and medicine in addition to the environmental subject matter the program has traditionally examined. The institute is an intensive, week-long program of lectures, discussions and almost daily field trips to natural areas, research centers and other locations from Fort Pierce to Miami. Deadline: March 1, 2012.
