Calling all creative writers whose muse is ecology: the world's eldest online environmental lit mag, Terrain.org [1], announces that its 12th Annual Contests in Poetry, Nonfiction and Fiction are now open for submissions. This year the grand prize in each genre is doubled: $1,000 each, plus $100 for each finalist. All submissions are considered for publication. The cost to submit is $20 per story, essay or article, or set of 3-5 poems (or single long poem). Submissions are welcome from new and experienced authors and artists alike.
The award-winning judges this year are Ellen Bass (poetry), Aimee Nezhukumatathil (nonfiction) and Maurice Carlos Ruffin (fiction).
