The Indigenous Journalists Association [1] (IJA) will host the Indigenous Media Conference (IMC), formerly known as the National Native Media Conference, at the Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, N.M., will be the venue for the Indigenous Journalists Association’s 2025 Indigenous Media Conference, Aug. 13-15. The theme is "Sovereignty Equals Free Press."

IJA’s opening night reception will be held at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center on Wednesday, Aug. 13 and the Indigenous Media Awards will be Friday, Aug. 15. 

Registration is open [2]. Pricing for all tiers includes access to workshops, sessions, screenings and keynote presentations, as well as the Opening Night Reception on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. In addition, all attendees will have on-demand access to programming on the IJA YouTube channel following the event. Early-bird rates end May 31, 2025 extended through June 22.
