Coaches To Be Warned About Air Pollution [1]

Coaches in Louisville will be asked to take precautions like moving practices earlier in the day when smog is predicted to be elevated. The Kentucky High School Athletic Association is considering to make that recommendation statewide, perhaps becoming the first in the nation to do so. This follows the heat stroke death of a high school football player last year that happened on a pollution alert day.

James Bruggers reports for the Louisville Courier-Journal July 7, 2009. [2]
