Reporters Committee Gets New Director [1]
Bruce D. Brown, a former reporter and media lawyer, will be the new executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press — a key advocate for press freedom and freedom of information in the United States.
Brown replaces Lucy A. Dalglish who left after a 12-year tenure to become dean of University of Maryland's Philip Merrill School of Journalism.
Brown practiced media law at the DC office of Baker & Hostetler, and had formerly been a reporter for Legal Times.
