#SEJSpotlight: Libby Leonard, Freelance Journalist [1]

Meet SEJ member Libby Leonard! Libby is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared on National Geographic Digital, SF Gate, Yes! Magazine, The Guardian, Civil Eats and more forthcoming. Most recently, Libby received a 2021 National Geographic storytellers grant to cover COVID-impact and community resilience in Hawai'i. She is also a member of PEN America [2].
Libby joined SEJ in February of this year and said, "it has been a great resource for story ideas and a sense of community among journalists."
