Co-sponsored by the EST and its American counterpart, the Society of Toxicology, this meeting will cover how Europeans are dealing with the mandate for premarket toxicity testing of all chemicals: the REACH program. Other sessions will deal with consumer chemicals and food contaminants, safety of herbal medicine, emerging pesticide issues related to human health, and environmental risk from human pharmaceuticals.
