DEADLINE: MBL Logan Science Journalism Program

The Logan Science Journalism Program [1] at the Marine Biological Laboratory provides professional science journalists, writers, editors and producers with at least three years experience. with a chance to forget about story deadlines and the latest breakthroughs, and instead immerse themselves in the process of basic biomedical and environmental research. Travel, room, board and course fees are covered for accepted fellows. The program, May 14-24, 2026, offers science journalists the choice between two introductory intensive laboratory courses:

For Science/Health Journalists — Biomedical Hands-On Research Course

For Environmental Journalists — Environmental Hands-On Research Course
