DEADLINE: National Tropical Botanical Garden’s Environmental Journalism Program

The National Tropical Botanical Garden’s five-day Environmental Journalism Program [1] in Hawaii, May 11-17, 2025, provides specialized working journalists in broadcast, print and online media much-needed information about tropical ecosystems, providing deep background in tropical ecology to enhance the accuracy of reporting on science and environmental issues. The focus is immersion and not advocacy.

NTBG provides all participants free on-site shared housing, airport transfer, and ground transportation. EJ Program participants are responsible for the cost of their own airfare to Lihue Airport on Kauai, meals, incidentals, and any additional expenses such as U.S. visas, etc.
