Kavli Conversations on Science Communication: Covering Epidemics

Ebola & Beyond: Covering Epidemics [1] is a conversation from the front lines of public health with award-winning writer Amy Maxmen and Boston University infectious disease specialist Dr. Nahid Bhadelia.

Amy Maxmen, a senior reporter at Nature, covers the entanglements of evolution, medicine and of people behind research. Now she's reporting on the Ebola epidemics in Africa.

Nahid Bhadelia is medical director of BU's Special Pathogens Unit. During the West African Ebola epidemic, she served as a clinician in several Ebola treatment units, working with World Health Organization and Partners in Health.
