The annual North America meeting of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) [1] is the largest gathering of environmental professionals supporting environmental quality through science®. The meeting will be held November 4-8, 2018, in Sacramento, California. As usual, the meeting scope [2] covers a wide range of environmental issues. The theme of the meeting this year is “Bridging Divides Between Environmental Stewardship and Economic Development”. The meeting will explore the link between sustainable economic development and environmental stewardship, with particular focus on ecological and societal considerations.
