Capital Gazette Murders: SEJ Responds [19]

The Society of Environmental Journalists is devastated and saddened by the brutal murder of five Capital Gazette employees and the injuries of many others when a lone gunman opened fire Thursday, June 28 in the Gazette's newsroom in Annapolis, Md. This heinous act, an apparent act of retaliation against the Gazette for reporting the news, is a reminder of the risks journalists face in doing their jobs every day.
