#SEJSpotlight graphic for Anne N. Connor

Meet SEJ member Anne N. Connor! She is a Vermont-based science writer with a focus on climate resilience and environmental solutions. Her stories have been published in Undark, Vox, Knowable, Flyway and The Scientist. She holds a master’s degree in science writing from Johns Hopkins University.

Anne has been an SEJ member since February 2020, and has enjoyed our daily EJToday [2] emails and the #SEJ2020 conference [3]. She recommends SEJ membership because "it's a good way to connect with other environmental journalists."

She's also a member of National Association of Science Writers [4] (NASW) and Solutions Journalism Network [5] (SJN).

Check out some of Anne's stories:

  • "Cleaning Up Runoff: Simple Ways To Handle Stormwater Can Protect the Environment and Prevent Flooding [6]," The Pragmatic Idealist, March 23, 2021.
