DEADLINE: East-West Center's Melvin M.S. Goo Writing Fellowship

The East-West Center's 2025 Melvin M.S. Goo Writing Fellowship [1], which will award up to three $10,000 grants to individual journalists, authors, or writers from the United States or China in support of projects that foster understanding between the two countries.

Applicants must be nationals or permanent residents of either the United States or the People's Republic of China. Applications are due Nov 1, 2024.

Selection criteria include how the proposed project will promote better understanding between the people of the two countries; focus on underreported feature topics; and reach a broad audience. We are looking for creativity and impact.
