Solutions journalism can (and should!) be done by small-town, rural journalists, and it can (and should!) be done on a regular basis. In Solutions Journalism Network’s first Rural Cohort, a six-month professional development program, rural newsrooms from around the U.S. worked to build SJ into their workflow. Now, Round 2 is here. 

The cohort will meet monthly from 11-1 p.m. ET (8-10 a.m. PT) on the third Thursday of the month starting in May 2024 and concluding in October 2024.
