The Unsustainable Cost of Our Treatment of Other Species 

The Rethinking Animals Summit 2017 [1] is a two-day public event in New York City, May 6-7, 2017. Hosted by Thinking Animals United [2], the Summit will be a diverse and comprehensive gathering of global experts in the research, conservation, and humane treatment of animals conversing with leaders in business, government, media, education, and theology to broaden our current understanding of the impact of animals on our lives. Through new insights and dialogue, it will challenge the public to reimagine their relationship to other species, and set precedent for necessary action on their behalf.

Where:  New York Academy of Medicine, 1216 Fifth Avenue, New York City, and has been made possible in part by the generous support of the Arcus Foundation.

Who Should Attend:  All thinking animals, including environmentalists and animal advocates, leaders in public health, global finance, national and international security, policy makers, elected officials and everyone eager to influence positive actions to mitigate the current situation, will all benefit by attending.
