"DOE: Perry Took 4 Noncommercial Flights, Spent $56K" [1]

"Energy Secretary Rick Perry took at least four noncommercial flights since taking office that cost taxpayers roughly $56,000, newly released documents show.

News broke earlier this week that Perry took a charter flight from Pennsylvania to Ohio late last month amid ongoing concerns about Cabinet secretaries spending money on noncommercial travel.

This afternoon, the Department of Energy detailed the trips. Documents show Perry took one Department of Defense aircraft while visiting national labs and the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico in May."
