"Exxon Hit With Proposed $2.6M Pipeline Fine" [1]

"The Transportation Department hit oil giant Exxon Mobil on Wednesday with a proposed $2.6 million fine for a pipeline rupture in Arkansas earlier this year."

"In March, the Pegasus pipeline operated by Exxon burst, spilling roughly 5,000 barrels of crude in Mayflower, Ark.

The spill forced 66 families from their homes. All received "financial relief" from Exxon four months later."
