"Green Infrastructure’ Legislation Headed to President Trump" [1]

"Cities and states would get more credit from the EPA for installing natural stormwater runoff systems under legislation that’s been cleared for President Donald Trump’s signature.

The Senate passed the bill (H.R. 7279) by voice vote.

The legislation would require the Environmental Protection Agency to give municipalities and states more credit for installing natural runoff collection methods, also known as “green infrastructure,” when weighing whether to grant them stormwater permits."

Katherine Scott and David Schultz report for Bloomberg Environment December 22, 2018. [2]
