"Island Nations Plead for Help from Obama on HFCs" [1]

Four island nations facing inundation from sea-level rise wrote President Obama, asking him to support their efforts to control HFCs. The hydrofluorocarbons used in refrigeration to replace ozone-depleting CFCs and HCFs are more ozone-friendly, but will add greatly to global warming. The island nations want Obama to push for control of HFCs under the Montreal Protocol.
