"Report: U.S. Has Too Much Coal Export Capacity" [1]

"The United States used only 34 percent of its total coal export capacity and does not need additional terminals, according to a new report that casts doubt on plans to develop new ports on the Columbia River.

The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, released a report today by Tom Sanzillo that concludes that the country's existing coal ports are operating well below capacity."

Wendy Culverwell reports for the Portland Business Journal November 19, 2014. [2]
