Are Health Warnings on Soda Unconstitutional? Industry Says Yes [1]
The American Beverage Association has sued the city of San Francisco for requiring health warnings on advertisements for certain sugary beverages when posted on city property.
In the lawsuit, the soda lobby argues that the city ordinances violate its First Amendment rights.
Joining the soda group in the suit are the California State Outdoor Advertising Association and the California Retailers Association.
