TRI Analysis Offers State-Level Toxics Info [1]

December 16, 2009

Reporters who want to know about toxic substances released into the air, land, or water of their particular state may have a ready-made story in EPA's Dec. 8, 2009, "TRI National Analysis."

It's an overview of data in the 2008 Toxics Release Inventory (the latest figures available), sliced and diced in ways that make it easier to see trends. The analysis includes state-by-state fact sheets summarizing statistics for the year ... and giving contacts at state agencies.
