"The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission got a mixed ruling in a lawsuit from a fossil-fuel friendly nonprofit seeking the calendars of two Democratic commissioners.

Judge Beryl A. Howell of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said Tuesday that FERC was able to justify some of the redactions it made when carrying out the request but needs to provide additional explanation for others.

The Institute for Energy Research was founded by a former Enron Corp. executive and has received financial support from fossil-fuel groups and organizations tied to billionaire Charles Koch."
