"French President Emmanuel Macron predicted Wednesday that the United States will one day return to the Paris Climate Accord.

Speaking to a joint session of Congress, Macron noted that climate change is a long-term problem and said he was confident the U.S. would return to the agreement at some point.

“I’m sure, one day, the United States will come back and join the Paris agreement. And I’m sure we can work together to fulfill with you the ambitions of the global compact on the environment,” Macron said."
