SEJ Partners in Launch of Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk

July 8, 2021 — The Society of Environmental Journalists partnered in the launch of a new Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk, along with Report for America and the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and supported with a $1.4 million, three-year grant from the Walton Family Foundation. National Science-Health-Environment Reporting Fellowships

Launched in Spring 2021, the National Science-Health-Environment Reporting Fellowships are a first-ever collaboration of the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing (CASW), the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) and the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ). The year-long fellowships are open to early-career journalists interested in covering any or all of the three fields. Deadline was May 17; fellows were announced June 17.
