A development program for early-career journalists
September 23, 2022 — Twelve journalists have been selected for the 2022-2023 National Science-Health-Environment Reporting Fellowships (SHERF).
Launched in 2021, the fellowships are a collaboration of the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ), the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing (CASW) and the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ), with funding by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Department of Science Education and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Early-career US journalists will receive training, networking, mentoring, new sources and story ideas — while allowing them to stay at their jobs.
