National Science-Health-Environment Reporting Fellowships
July 12, 2022 — Launched in Spring 2021, the National Science-Health-Environment Reporting Fellowships are a collaboration of the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing (CASW), the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) and the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ). The year-long fellowships are open to early-career journalists interested in covering any or all of the three fields. Deadline for the second round was September 1, 2022.

SEJ Partners in Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk
July 31, 2023 — The Society of Environmental Journalists will partner in the expansion of the Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk, along with Report for America and the University of Missouri School of Journalism. The re-upped initiative will be supported by a new $2.47 million, three-year grant from the Walton Family Foundation. Find out more and how journalists can get involved.
