IG Finds Former NRC Commissioner Hid Ethics Violations [1]

The Freedom of Information Act worked for one watchdog group who found evidence that former Nuclear Regulatory Commission member Jeffrey Merrifield covered up contacts with potential future employers while he was ruling on their interests.
The Project on Government Oversight (POGO) used FOIA to get reports and documents from an NRC Inspector General's investigation into the Merrifield matter.
