Winston & Strawn and Environmental Law Institute (ELI) will co-host a seminar in Winston's New York office and via teleconference on "Hydraulic Fracturing Risks and Opportunities" on April 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. (EST).

The program will focus on both the environmental risks and the energy opportunities that result from the use of this technique to extract oil and gas. The discussion will focus on the diverse perspectives and responses from the government, public interest, industry, and investment sectors to these risks and opportunities.

Panelists include: John Imse, principal, ENVIRON; Christine Tezak, senior research analyst, RWBaird; Carol R. Collier, executive director, Delaware River Basin Commission and committee leader, Association of Clean Water Administrators; and Kate Sinding, senior attorney, Natural Resources Defense Council; and other guests. The panel will be moderated by May Wall, a partner based in Winston & Strawn's Washington, D.C. office.

Breakfast will be provided to those attending in-person starting at 8:30 a.m. (EST).
