DEADLINE: Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program

The 2018-2019 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 100 awards in the field of communications and journalism and nearly 500 awards overall. 

Opportunities for the 2018-19 academic year are found in the newly redesigned Catalog of Awards.There are many awards in the fields of communications and journalism, including:
·         Ukraine: Journalism, Communications
·         Trinidad and Tobago: Multiple Disciplines – College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts
·         Uzbekistan: All Disciplines
·         Israel: Senior Scholar All-Disciplines Fellowship
·         Burma: All Disciplines
·         Swaziland: Mass Communication and Broadcast Journalism
·         Niger: All Disciplines
 
If you have any reservations in regards to the potential length of time spent abroad, many awards offer theoption for Flex, which allows a grant to be split into two or three short-term stays abroad. Eligibility criteria,application guidelines, review criteria, and other resources are available on our website.
