DEADLINE: Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship
Journalists and freelance writers based in the U.S. may apply for the Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship. The selected journalist will travel to San Diego, March 12-14, 2013, to attend the annual Kyoto Prize presentation ceremony, laureate lectures and workshops.
The 2013 Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship application deadline has been extended by one week — applications will be accepted though February 8th.

The Kyoto Prize Journalism Fellowship is part of Point Loma Nazarene University’s mission to provide modern education in the sciences and reflective education in philosophy, society, and the arts. During their stay, the fellow will have opportunities to interview the latest Kyoto Prize laureates and interact with Point Loma Nazarene University’s top journalism students. The fellowship covers transportation, accommodations, and per-diem expenses.
