DEADLINE: Travel Photographer of the Year

Run by photographers for photographers, Travel Photographer of the Year is a global competition open to photographers worldwide — amateur or professional, beginner or expert, young or old.

The Travel Photographer of the Year 2025 will be the photographer who submits the best two portfolios of four images each in any of the ‘Adventures & Experiences’, ‘Culture, Heritage & Beliefs’, ‘Landscape, Weather & Climate’ or ‘Wildlife, Sealife, Birdlife’ portfolio categories. See all categories. The TPOTY will receive a £2000 cash prize, a portfolio review by a leading New York photographer’s agent, Frank Meo, plus Radiant Photo imaging software. Entry fees apply.

Young Travel Photographer of the Year 2025 is for photographers aged 18 and under. This year’s theme is "Journeys & Adventures." Awards will be given in the 14 and Under and 15-18 age groups, and one overall winner will be chosen – the Young Travel Photographer of the Year 2025. The Young TPOTY winner receives £500 plus Radiant Photo imaging software. The winners of the individual age groups each receive £250. All three young winners also win a place on an Eye for the Light one-day photography workshop or receive an online imaging critique. No entry fee.
