Fund for Environmental Journalism
Donating to SEJ's Fund for Environmental Journalism (FEJ) helps provide grant support to journalists by covering expenses for story projects.
The "Lizzie" Grant
The "Lizzie" Grant is named for Elizabeth Grossman, a longtime SEJ member. Lizzie was elected to the board in 2014. She devoted her career to uncovering environmental health issues while tirelessly advocating for freelancers until her untimely death in July 2017. The grant will provide up to $5,000 to help cover travel and other expenses related to sustained coverage (e.g., a series of articles) of a particular topic in environmental health. It will be offered under the Fund for Environmental Journalism.
21st Century Fund
Donating to SEJ's 21st Century fund supports our endowment, which will provide for the future of SEJ.
SEJ Conference Travel Stipends
Help us support journalists to attend SEJ's annual conference. Your donation will help cover the costs of registration, travel, lodging and other expenses.
