IMPORTANT: If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, they request that you notify them of your arrival time at least one day before your arrival. They say they do not pick up at the airport on demand.

 

 

Those attendees staying at the Riverfront Center have a number of options outlined on the Bishop International Airport transportation page. The airport is serviced by several taxi companies. Uber and Lyft are also available.

 

There is also regular city bus service available. The airport is serviced by the #11 bus marked “Fenton Road.” Information on this bus can be found on the Flint MTA Primary Routes page. The one-way fare is $1.75. The bus runs every half hour from 6:30am to 10:30pm Monday-Saturday, and 9:30am-6:30pm on Sundays. People at the MTA Customer Service line (810-767-0100) say it takes about 20 minutes to travel from downtown to the airport. They are not certain of the timing from the airport to the end of the line, but they assume it is also 20 minutes.

 

The bus line ends at the Flint MTA service center at 615 Harrison Street. This is a four block walk to the Riverfront Center.
