The Fund for Investigative Journalism invites you to Impact Investigations: Podcasts on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern (via Zoom). Learn how to develop and produce investigative podcasts, including bringing documents and data to life in audio reporting and transferring skills from traditional print and broadcast journalism to podcasts.

Featuring:

  • Ellen Weiss, former DC Bureau Chief for Scripps; former Senior Vice President of News at NPR
  • Susanne Reber, Executive Producer of podcasts at Scripps; co-founder of Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting
  • Mark Greenblatt, Senior Investigative Reporter at Scripps DC Bureau; former investigative reporter at KHOU in Houston, Texas

This team produces “Verified,” an award-winning serial narrative from Scripps that is now in its third season. They will share:
