Job Opening: Associate Editor, SEJournal

ASSOC. EDITOR: SEJournal, the weekly environmental news magazine for the Society of Environmental Journalists, is seeking an independent contractor to serve as associate editor. The associate editor would work with the editor to conceive, solicit and edit an array of SEJournal content. The contract would also involve light writing and social media duties, as well as occasional back-up for the editor and copy/production team. Strong editing skills are a must, with 5-7 years of relevant writing/editing experience preferred, and copy editing and news production a plus.

The schedule is highly flexible and work is done remotely. A great part-time, paid opportunity to interact with SEJournal’s superb volunteer editors and other top environmental journalists at North America's largest professional membership organization for journalists covering energy and the environment. Send a resume and 1-2 writing and/or editing samples to SEJournal editor Adam Glenn at SEJournaleditor@sej.org.
