Stokes Award for Best Energy Writing offers a $1,000 award and citation for best analysis, commentary or reporting on the subject of energy and natural resources, in any form — oil, gas, coal, nuclear, water, solar, etc. The work must have been published in a daily newspaper in the U.S. between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of the previous year.
